Workplace of the future for Officeworks

Workplace of the future

The workplace design and integrated fitout emphasises the brand’s renewal and enables team members to thrive and function at their best.

Officeworks’ phased move into its new headquarters at Chadstone Place continues a trend of national businesses relocating their corporate bases outside Melbourne’s CBD and into the growing mixed-use precinct.

The building has been transformed from the inside out, giving Officeworks a high-profile presence within its suburban business environment. A series of mixed mode zones allowing for diversity, flexibility and wellness are boldly expressed on the façade.

A blocking and stacking design concept has split the building into different purposes, giving each floor a distinct feel that caters to specific workstyles. This hybrid working arrangement encourages occupants to move about the commercial office space, which includes an Innovation Hub with approximately 1,000 workpoints across four levels.

The approx. 8,000-square-metre tenancy takes occupancy of the Chadstone office space to 100%. The commercial workplace is also anticipated to be Australia’s first certified ILFI Zero Carbon building.
