A campus workplace focused on wellbeing and connection

Australian Unity

A commitment to wellbeing provided the cornerstone for the large flexible workplace, which connects staff, builds community, allows for agile working, and respects the heritage of the site.

The hub-style workplaces, located within the tower, are divided into three-storey villages complete with break-out spaces and collaborative areas. A network of voids and staircases connect the villages, with a large two-floor amphitheatre acting as the village square.

An emphasis on natural materials such as timber creates a warm and calming atmosphere, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to wellness. A geometric motif is used throughout the interior providing a common decorative thread as well as a connection to the architecture and the tower’s patterned façade.

The development incorporates the former Church of England Mission Hall, which has been sensitively repurposed into a client meeting rooms, with many of the original details carefully restored.
