Our Melbourne and Sydney studios recently hosted half-day leadership conferences, bringing our teams together to tackle key city-scale challenges.

 

In Melbourne, the session explored the ‘Future of Docklands,’ held within Bates Smart’s project at Goods Shed South. Starting with an inspiring presentation by Steve Torne, Director at Design Urban, the day was followed by a design charette generating ideas to make the precinct more integrated, lively and welcoming.

In Sydney, Professor Deo Prasad and Professor Veena Sahajwalla – both pioneers in climate action – shared how creative thinking and practical solutions can drive meaningful change for communities and the planet. The event was held in the Bates Smart designed space, Salt Box.
