Rivière was awarded two commendations last week at the Australian Institute of Architects Greater Brisbane Regional Awards.

 

The residential project in Kangaroo Point is designed to leverage the best qualities of Brisbane’s subtropical climate.

Rivière won the Lord Mayor’s Buildings That Breathe Prize, which recognises outstanding architecture that demonstrates strong alignment with Brisbane City Council’s New World City Design Guide – Buildings that Breathe. The design principles outlined in the Council’s guide include:

  • showcasing high standards of design and construction
  • creating an enviable and lush urban environment
  • celebrating our subtropical lifestyle
  • stimulating economic activity
