42 Honeysuckle Drive has been awarded the Named Award for Commercial Architecture at the 2026 NSW Regional Architecture Awards, presented by the Australian Institute of Architects.

The mixed-use development in Newcastle brings together a Little National Hotel and a commercial office building constructed in CLT. Positioned on the Hunter River foreshore beside the city’s transport interchange, the project plays a key role in Newcastle’s urban renewal – leading sustainable, socially engaging design and setting a new benchmark for waterfront development across the region.
