Innovative and poetic thesis shines at MSDx Winter

MSDx Winter

Bates Smart Medal

MSDx Winter showcases the quality and diversity of output at the University of Melbourne School of Design – from highly speculative propositions to more practice-oriented efforts, small design interventions to large urban proposals and beyond.

Bates Smart Studio Directors Karen Wong and Johan Hermijanto were impressed with the talent and breadth of work presented. We’re proud to announce the winner of the annual Bates Smart Medal and Prize went to Lucy Jenkins, for her poetic and thought-provoking thesis “Service Disruption.” Congratulations Lucy and we look forward to the summer MSDx iteration!
