We are delighted to have Refugee Resource Hub and 55 Southbank Boulevard named winners at the 2023 Australian Good Design Awards in the Architectural Design category.

 

The Good Design Awards Jury recognised both the pro bono and adaptive reuse projects for their design excellence and impact on social outcomes and business success, commenting:

 “The Refugee Resource Hub is a virtuous project from Bates Smart and Garner Davis that shows a commendable commitment to communities in need of beneficial support. We are impressed with the transformational design process that evolved an ordinary space into one that could support a range of life-changing services.”

“Located on an enviable corner block, 55 Southbank Boulevard offers a low carbon footprint and an exquisite living experience. Well done on the thoughtful use of materials and deep consideration for the community during construction.”
