LIV Munro: A new standard of living for renters at Queen Victoria Market

LIV Munro

A new standard of living for renters at Queen Victoria Market

Launched at the end of last year, LIV Munro features 490 generously proportioned apartments designed exclusively for renters. The build-to-rent tower offers a mix of residences to suit a variety of household configurations, along with premium amenities attractive to different demographics.

The concept for a fully integrated vertical community within a revitalised mixed-use Queen Victoria Market precinct integrates a range of spaces for passive, active, private and public use at ground level, extending from the residential tower. The development works in harmony with the treasured built character of the historic market, while being highly reflective of Melbourne’s diverse population.

The LIV Munro tower is designed by Bates Smart architects for Mirvac with the hotel-occupied podium’s double lobby in partnership with Six Degrees. The broader Munro precinct delivered by PDG in collaboration with the City of Melbourne will incorporate a community hub, city library, affordable housing, a hotel, retail and activated laneways.
