Bates Smart believes in providing students and graduates of architecture and interior design with an opportunity to enter the workforce and to learn all facets of their chosen discipline. As a result, we have in place:
Casual employment opportunities so students can gain practical experience alongside their studies. We employ a number of students at different levels and offer casual work (1 or 2 days a week) during the semester and potentially full-time work during university holidays. We are very understanding during exam time!
Graduate awards at a number of Australian universities that we are proud to sponsor for top performing students.
A mentoring program that provides junior staff with the opportunity to have the support and guidance of a highly experienced person in the same field who is passionate about passing on their wealth of knowledge.
