Kristen Whittle

Kristen completed a Bachelor of Architecture at Manchester University, UK, and a Masters of Architecture at SCI-Arc, Los Angeles. In London, Kristen worked for Herzog & De Meuron and had a lead design role on the Laban Dance Centre and Tate Modern Art Gallery.

Kristen led the design for the new Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, which received more than 35 national and international awards including the AIA Victorian Architecture Medal, the AIA National Award and the World Architecture Award for Health.

In the Melbourne studio, Kristen guides the design team and works across the full spectrum of projects. Significant projects include the commercial development 171 Collins Street, the residential towers 35 Spring Street, 555 Collins Street, and 85 Spring Street, as well as the new club stand for the Victorian Racing Club and the new Australian Embassy, Washington D.C.
