Visit Victoria is a new organisation that consolidates the Melbourne Convention Bureau, Major Events Victoria and Tourism Victoria into one entity.
The design for the workplace focused on the creation of a new corporate identity and the strategy for merging staff from three separate companies into a single organisation.
A key component of the design is the shift towards an inclusive open plan and flexible office arrangement that respects diverse needs and behaviours, whilst encouraging cross-business collaboration. All staff, including the CEO, are now located in the communal workspace.
Designed with a modest budget, the colour palette, graphics and furniture were selected to showcase quintessential Melbourne, whilst presenting a professional workplace suited to a premium stakeholder audience. The amenity also includes a dedicated partner workspace to support Visit Victoria’s stakeholders.
The project tackled significant change within a rapid timeframe and was completed with a fast delivery. It demonstrates what can be achieved with a committed and collaborative client and project team.
